Position title
Security Analyst
Responsibilities
  • Technical degree or equivalent work experience in IT and/or Security.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in information technology (IT), information security, compliance and risk management.
  • Certifications at least one CISSP,CISM, CISA CEH
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Cyber Security
  • Experience implementing or auditing standards and best practices such as ISO 27001/2, NIST, FedRAMP, CSF, ITIL, SOC2 or other cyber security standards and certifications
Qualifications
  • Current working knowledge of Information Security and IT operations including risk assessment, technology trends, incident response, security and operating procedures.
  • Deep understanding of technologies and technical procedures such as GRC, Azure Security, Big Data Security, SIEM, firewalls, vulnerability management, patch management, configuration management, identity & access management,
  • Demonstrated project management skills with multiple on-going projects, training, technical writing experience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Work with different teams, requests responses and provides guidance on findings remediation
  • Work with different teams to analyze open findings to ensure closure in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with internal auditors, external auditors, and other organizations on matters of cyber security, risk, compliance, and governance
  • Drive remediation and risk mitigation planning, execution and oversight (strategies)
  • Support project initiatives to improve risk assessment and review processes
  • Assist in security awareness and training activities as needed
  • Manage a uniform system to track, prioritize, communicate, and remediate security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats across the organization
  • Collaborate with internal auditors, external auditors, and other organizations on matters of cyber security, risk, compliance, and governance
  • Fosters a culture of security across the organization by participating in key conversations, providing training, and advising departments on GRC matters
  • Review 3rd party vendors, contracts, and technology for security and risks
  • Work across the security organization to assist with SecOps, SecEng, and SecArch on projects as needed
  • Assist in tracking compliance and attestation schedules and mapping those to remediation plans
