Description

Client is looking for a Director, Sales & Business Development. This role is responsible for managing sales and business development operations exclusive to the technology function. Must have deep understanding of Life Sciences/Pharma/Biotech markets along with proven track record in driving revenue growth and business scale-up.

Responsibilities
  • Sell Data & Analytics (D&A) technology solutions/services to pharmaceutical, biotech and life science companies – with a focus on new customer acquisition (North America geography).
  • Business Growth, and meeting/ exceeding annual sales quota's will be the primary responsibility of the role
  • Go to Market Planning and implementation of the sales strategy of assigned accounts- Identifying and methodically qualifying opportunities, while progressing deals to closure will be a key discipline and requirement
  • Building a pipeline of prospective clients.
Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum 10 years Business Development experience
  • Must have a quantifiable and verifiable track record of exceptional revenue and profit growth serving in the pharmaceutical / biotech / CRO / life-sciences Services Companies selling D&A solutions/ services covering both onshore / offshore & hybrid teams
  • Strong client network and relationships that can be leveraged
  • Understanding of the D&A space and solutions needed within Life Science companies.
  • A hunter with proven ability to drive significant sales growth within an organization and who understands how to effectively leverage the resources available in an early-stage, high-growth environment.
  • A ‘hands on’ self-starter accustomed to working remotely while staying close with HQ
  • Unquestionable integrity and reputation, with a track record of delivering results while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Ability to work well across multiple geographies and cultures.
